Google Accounts on your Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge

How to create a new Google account:

• From a Home screen, navigate: Apps > Settings > Accounts.
  These instructions apply to Standard mode only.

• Tap Add account.

• Tap Google.

• Tap Or Create A New Account.

• Enter the appropriate name into the following fields then tap Next.
  – First name
  – Last name

• From the Username field, enter the desired username then tap Next.

• Enter then re-enter the preferred password then tap Next.
  The password must be at least 8 characters.

• From the Add phone number screen, ensure the correct phone number is listed then tap Next.

• From the pop-up, tap Verify.

• Tap I Agree (located in the lower-right) to accept the terms and conditions.

• From the Your Google Account screen, tap Next.

• From the Google services screen, tap Keep me up to date… to enable or disable then tap Next.
  Enabled when a check mark is present.

• From the Set up payment info screen, select No thanks then tap Continue.
  Payment info can be completed later by navigating Apps > Play Store from a Home screen, tap a paid app, tap Continue then select a payment method.

• From the Sync your account screen, tap the appropriate sync settings (e.g., Sync Contacts, etc.) to enable or disable then tap Next.
  Enabled when a check mark is present.

How to add an existing Google account:

• From a Home screen, navigate: Apps > Settings > Accounts.
  These instructions apply to Standard mode only.

• Tap Add account.

• Tap Google.

• Enter the email address then tap Next.

• Enter the email password then tap Next.

• Review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap Accept (located in the lower-right).
  To review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, tap the appropriate link and language then tap Close (at the bottom) when finished.

• From the Google services screen, tap any of the following to enable or disable then tap Next:
  Enabled when a check mark is present.
  • Back up your device’s apps, app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords using your Google Account
  • Keep me up to date with news and offers from Google Play

•  If presented “Set up payment info”, tap No thanks then tap Continue (located in the lower-right).
  To set up payment info after adding a Google account:
  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps > Play Store.
  2. Tap a paid app.
  3. Tap the price of the app.
  4. Tap Continue then select a payment method.
