Do not disturb issue
We have recently found various customers have had issues with their iPhones following the latest update of software.
It seems the update has automatically turned on the Do Not Disturb (DND) feature on the iPhone, with repeated calls function available.
This means that if anyone phones, the call will be sent directly to voicemail – without a notification to the user. While the repeated calls function means that if the caller then makes the same call within a 3 minute period, it will not silence the call.
If you believe your calls are going directly to your voicemail without a notification of a missed call, please follow the below instructions:
1) Firstly, please see if the DND symbol is apparent – the symbol is similar to a half moon shape and will be sat next to your battery bar.
2) If visible, go to your iPhone home screen, select ‘settings’ and scroll down to ‘Do Not Disturb’
3) Select Do Not Disturb, and ensure Manual is switched off so that it looks as it does below, and is not enabled (green).
If you have any further issues following the iPhone update, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our support team. We are always happy to help.
