New and recommitting customers
Any new or recommitting customers between 16 June and 22 October 2016 will have their £5/day for WorldTraveller and Business Traveller honoured until the end of January 2017, as Vodafone were unable to provide 30 days’ notice prior to the change.
You will therefore see no additional costs to your bill. You’ll receive 30 days’ notice in writing this December to ensure you understand the change and can choose the right course of action for your business.
A billing error for some UAE customers
Unfortunately, an error in Vodafone’s billing system meant that the removal of UAE was not delivered properly for a subset of customers. The data cap was not working for customers, nor were customers receiving text messages while abroad to inform them of their usage.
To support any customers with complaints and high bills due to the recent issue we will be:
- Identifying customers with World Traveller and Business Traveller who have roamed in the UAE between 16 October and 21 November 2016
- Of those customers who have not opted out of Data Capping during this period who have roamed in UAE will be eligible for credits
- Credits will be calculated for those customers who have charges above £39.33 and will be automatically generated by the billing team – Please do not raise any credits manually
- Please note: Double-credits will not be applied. Any customers who already has credits raised to cover UAE usage due to alternative criteria will not be eligible to receive credits for this usage too
If you have any questions regarding these changes, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your Account Manager via support@cmmtelecoms.co.uk or phone 01252 854352.
We are always more than happy to help!
Kind regards,
