One Plus 5 review
Initially, chinese corporation One Plus was heavily dominated by the big players across the globe, such as Nokia – Finland, Samsung – South Korean, Apple – USA, and HTC – Taiwan. But, despite the high barriers to entry, One Plus is now a renowned brand offering smartphones with major value for money. Their latest model – the One Plus 5.
Design
The One Plus 5 is their thinner flagship yet, at just 7.25mm, yet boasts more power than ever before. In fact, you can take advantage of a day’s power in half an hour thanks to ‘Dash Charge’ – video example below. Finally, the One Plus 5 sports a 5.5-inch display and is available in Slate Gray, Soft Gold and Midnight Black.
Features
The One Plus 5 has the highest resolution dual camera on a smartphone at 20MP compared to 12MP on Samsung’s latest Galaxy Note 8 Phablet. The camera even takes RAW photos which means your images won’t be compressed, so they’ll be even higher quality. The One Plus 5 knocks the new Note 8 out the park once again, with 8GB of RAM available compared to 6GB. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor is power efficient too, so you don’t have to worry about running out of juice. The OnePlus 5 comes with up to 128GB storage, so you can forget about having to delete apps to make room for more photos. And it even learns how you use your phone to launch important apps more quickly.
