Design
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are the first iPhone’s in history to feature a water and dust resistant enclosure, giving the new Apple flagships a whole new level of durability. While the new iPhone’s have certainly toughened up, the premium design has also been taken up a notch with an all-new beautiful black, featuring a matte finish and deep, high-gloss jet black. Keeping in line with last year’s models, the 7 has the same 4.7″ display as the 6S, and the 7 Plus has the same 5.5″ display as the 6S Plus. However the retina HD display is 25% brighter with a wider colour gamut and features 3D touch.

Both models are constructed with 7000 series aluminium and are also available in Apple’s signature silver, gold and rose gold finishes. The home button has been re-designed to be more durable, more responsive and more pressure sensitive. Working in tandem with the new Taptic Engine, the advanced solid-state button gives you precise tactile feedback as you press. As before, the home button offers fingerprint Touch ID for secure unlocking and payments via Apple Pay.
Key features
The 12MP Apple camera has been updated in the iPhone 7 by adding optical image stabilization, an ƒ/1.8 aperture, and a six-element lens to make it even better for shooting photos and videos in low light. The optical image stabilisation reduces blur associated with motion and handshake, while a sensor helps the lens counteract movement, allowing for 3x longer exposure than the previous 6s. While the larger aperture allows up to 50 percent more light onto the camera sensor than iPhone 6s and the four smart LEDs flash 50 percent brighter than iPhone 6s.

The new 7MP FaceTime camera has also been updated, so not only does it offer a higher resolution but it also uses wider colour capture. When it comes to the iPhone 7 Plus, it has the same 12MP wide-angle camera as the iPhone 7, but it also combines a second telephoto camera that shoots as one with the wide-angle camera. This means you’ll be able to take advantage of a higher quality zoom from farther away and an all-new depth of field effect.
The new iPhone’s feature Apple’s latest iOS 10, which includes updates to Siri, Messages, Safari, Maps, Music, Photos, News, HomeKit and QuickType and Multilingual typing, as well as a general re-design and improved user experience.

Not only has Apple’s operating system been completely updated, but the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus also feature the A10 Fusion chip which is 2x faster than the iPhone 6 and has the longest battery life ever in an iPhone.
When it comes to sound, the iPhone now comes with stereo speakers, for the first time, delivering two times the audio output of the iPhone 6S and increased dynamic range. The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus come with EarPods that have a Lightning connector. However if you’d still like to listen with your old headphones, you can do so by using a 3.5mm headphone jack adaptor which is also included in the box.
Finally, Wi-Fi and Cellular have been improved to offer faster LTE with the best worldwide roaming. Offering you 3x faster LTE than the iPhone 6 at 450 Mbps for data downloads and with up to 25 bands of LTE you’ll have the best worldwide roaming available in a smartphone.

The Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus can be pre-ordered from September 9th and will be available from September 16th in Jet Black, Black, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold.
