Starlink for business FAQs
Is there a long-term contract?
The core airtime service is on a 30-day rolling contract, with a 30-day minimum. Cancellation arrangements will be confirmed in your quotation. Optional equipment or support services may have different terms.
Can Starlink be our main connection?
Yes, where the location and expected performance suit your requirements. We’ll discuss your applications and usage before recommending a plan. Speeds vary by location, congestion and conditions and are not guaranteed.
Will it switch over automatically if our broadband fails?
Automatic failover requires a suitable router and configuration. This is an optional addition, quoted separately from the Starlink kit and airtime.
What happens when we use our data allowance?
Additional Priority Data can be added in 50GB blocks at extra cost. Without a top-up, service is limited to 1Mbps download and 0.5Mbps upload. We’ll agree the appropriate top-up settings and charges with you.
Who do we contact for help?
CMM is your contact for account support, billing and supplier escalation, with 24/7 technical support backing for the service. Your welcome information will explain the support contacts and out-of-hours arrangements.
Do you offer installation?
Yes. Optional professional installation is £250 + VAT, in addition to your hardware and airtime. Tell us about your location and mounting requirements so we can confirm the scope and availability. Additional mounting equipment or non-standard work is quoted separately.
